Osprey HydraForm Reservoir
As
a camper you need to be able to make some food yourself.
Basically it comes down to just boiling water when you are
carrying your food in your rucksack.
It is different wen you are camping but carry your stuff in
the trunk of your car, then you can make a fine dinner or
breakfast and you do not have to worry about the weight.
So first priority water and i have a habit of carrying more water then i need it adds weight but better carry to much then coming short on a hot day with no refreshments on route.
So i have a 3 liter Osprey HydraFormâ„¢ Reservoir in my Osprey backpack most people will pick the 2 liter version but as i told above i prefer to have extra. It keeps the water cool and gives no strange taste, easy to tap so no worries about the water.
Primus EtaPack Lite
So now the part of boiling the water.? I have done a great deal of research first to decide which stove would be best to replace my old heavy burner.

And after looking at loads of stoves i found the one
perfect for me.
The Primus EtaPack Lite it is just a all in one system with
windscreen and and it boils a liter of water in about a
minute or so.
Food
The food well i kept that simple Noodles Noodles Noodles
and noodles in all kinds of flavors. I brought about 12
packs of those with me from Holland and the weight is
minimal. And believe it or not wen you have a hole day of
walking behind you, those noodles taste awesome.
I also have lots of instant nescafe coffee, thee, sugar and
milk in my pack.
